Danish hardcore outfit Scarred by Beauty have teamed up with German based Redfield Records for the worldwide release of their second full-length album ’Cape Zero'. The new album is set for release on September 9.
 ’Cape Zero’ was recorded in 12 days in three different studios across Copenhagen. The 11 tracks were produced, mixed and mastered by Jeppe Andersson and the band members themselves.
The band explained: "On this album we wanted to explore something darker than we have done before. We found Cape Zero. Cape Zero is the lowest low, rock bottom where all things lost end up. The reason why we went on this journey was the realisation of high ultimately being defined by how low. There is always light and the hope for a better tomorrow and that you will also find even at Cape Zero. But sometimes it is important to feel to the fullest how far you have fallen in order to know how much of an effort it will take to get back to where you belong - because no one belongs at Cape Zero."
Since forming in Copenhagen in 2006, the quintet, who have toured Europe several times supporting international artists such as the Black Dahlia Murder, I Killed The Prom Queen, For The Fallen Dreams, Gojira and Meshuggah, have become one of Denmark´s most touring bands, spending more and more time on the road each year.
After their demo release in 2008, their debut EP ’We Swim’ pushed the band straight forward and won them an award as “Talent of the Year” at the Danish Metal Awards 2009. In June 2011 the band released their self-financed debut album ‘Sutra’ through Mighty Music/Target Distribution.
