Arcade Fire Tease Fans With 15-Second Clip of New Track

Monday, 02 September 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Canadian indie-rockers Arcade Fire have released a 15-second teaser clip of a brand new track, believed to be taken from their forthcoming new album ‘Reflektor’.

Although it doesn’t feature any vocals, the clip has been posted to Spotify and can be streamed live right now - you can check it out embedded below. It’s unclear what the track will be called - it’s only titled ‘9pm 9/9’ on Spotify - but an official from the music streaming company has confirmed that it does belong to Arcade Fire.

It’s the latest in a long line of teasers the band have given their fans recently - it follows their massive ‘9pm 9/9 Reflektor’ campaign, which saw artwork and those words emblazoned on posters across the globe. After it was confirmed that Arcade Fire were behind it, all that fans have left to do is wait for next Monday at 9pm.

Although nothing else about next week’s announcement has been revealed - apart from this new 15-second clip - it’s been rumoured that some new music will drop via Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show.
