To coincide with his upcoming headline tour, Frank Hamilton will release his new single Summer on October 7. The single is a revamped version taken from the '#OneSongAWeek' album.
The new single follows on from a rather busy 2012, which saw Hamilton write, record and release one song a week. So far, 2013 has so far been surprisingly sedentary in comparison. If you call recording an EP aboard the London Eye in one single rotation (28 minutes), releasing the entire 52-track '#OneSongAWeek' album, touring with Lucy Spraggan and Lewis Watson, selling out The Borderline, playing at Belladrum and Secret Garden Party and working towards a 17-date UK headline tour this September and October sedentary, that is.
The Summer video was filmed in Holywell, near St Ives, Cambridgeshire where Hamilton grew up. Check it out below.
'#OneSongAWeek' was a vast, tiring, but rewarding achievement for Hamilton, it spent most of the week it was released at Number 1 in the iTunes singer/songwriter section.
Frank's forthcoming tour will air the best from the 52 songs as well as showcase new songs, drawing to a close the rollercoaster ride the past two years have been and opening up the door to an exciting 2014.
