Disclosure Back David Bowie For Mercury Prize 2013

EDM sensations Disclosure are backing David Bowie to win the Mercury Prize 2013.
The duo, who hit #1 with their debut album ‘Settle’ back in June, have found themselves in the running for the prestigious Mercury Prize this year, alongside Foals, Rudimental, Arctic Monkeys, and of course Bowie.
The guys are surprised and ‘honoured’ to feature on the list, and face some stiff competition for the prize. Speaking in an interview with NME, the duo have named Bowie, who surprised fans with the release of ‘The Next Day’ (his first record for 10 years) earlier this year, as their favourite to win.
“I feel that David Bowie, after 24 albums, and how old is he? 60? I think he should win. He must have won it. Fuck it, if I had done that many albums I’d want to fucking win it!”
The ceremony for the prize takes place on October 30 and the full list of nominees includes Jon Hopkins, Jake Bugg, Laura Mvula, Villagers, Savages, Laura Marling, and James Blake.
