Kilto Take Share Video For New Single Mimic

Friday, 20 September 2013 Written by Jon Stickler

Hertfordshire-based band Kilto Take have released the music video for Mimic, the first single to be released from their forthcoming debut album ‘Resolute’.

Directed by renowned motion graphics designer Digiboy, the video looks into the inner workings of a fragmented, fragile heart, driven, yet damaged by the seductive and animalistic beat of dissolute culture. As lead singer Jonathan explained: “It focuses on the pastimes of a hedonist ‘mimicking a life’ of empty, throwaway, lust-fuelled pursuits, becoming just another lost soul of 'dissolute culture'…giving it away all too easily."

Taking influences from the best of early-U2, early-Radiohead, The Cure and Echo and the Bunnymen; the dark, anthemic offering typifies the bands approach to making the music that they love.

The single is released on October 7. Debut album 'Resolute' is out on November 25.
