James Murphy’s remix of David Bowie’s recent track Love Is Lost will premiere on BBC Radio 6 Music this Thursday.

The LCD Soundsystem man has supplied a brand new remix - titled the ‘Hello Steve Reich Mix’ - for the upcoming deluxe reissue of Bowie’s recent 24th studio album ‘The Next Day’ (‘The Next Day Extra’), which will hit shelves on November 4.

The track didn’t feature as one of the album’s singles but Murphy’s re-fix has given it a breath of fresh air, and will be debuted at 8.50am on October 10, live on BBC Radio 6 Music's breakfast show - it’ll also be available to stream on Bowie’s website here from midnight the same day.

‘The Next Day Extra’ reissue is set to be spread over three discs, and along with the 14 track original version, fans will also receive new cuts Like A Rocket Man, Born in a UFO, The Informer, and Atomica. There’s also God Bless the Girl, which was previously only available on Deluxe and Japanese versions of the album.

The album, which first hit shelves in a surprise release from Bowie earlier this year, will also include a Venetian remix of I'd Rather Be High as well as Murphy’s remix, while there are also three more tracks which featured on the Deluxe version too.

Bowie lovers who grab the collection will be also be treated to a DVD featuring music videos for title track The Next Day, Valentine’s Day, The Stars (Are Out Tonight), and Where Are We Now?
