The Menzingers have laid out plans for their eighth studio album.

'Everything I Ever Saw' is set for release through Epitaph on July 17, following 2023's 'Some Of It Was True' and its 2024 deluxe edition. Recorded with longtime collaborator and Grammy-winning producer Will Yip at his new Memory Music Studios in Philadelphia, the album comes after some major life changes — marriage, divorce, loss and personal growth — fueling a renewed creative energy that finds the band at their most true to themseleves. Vocalist-guitarist Tom May said:

"So much changed in our lives and in the world while we were making this record, and somehow, it all pulled us deeper into the band and deeper into our friendship. Twenty years in and this is the most connected we've felt to what we're doing. I'd always heard 'bigger kids, bigger problems,' and there's truth in that, but there's also bigger answers and deeper meaning. There's a kind of hard-won hope you can only find on the other side of real change. In all the uncertainty of life and the world it's easy to go straight to cynical. Easy to say fuck it all. With ‘Everything I Ever Saw,’ we wanted to lean into all of it, head on. The whole damn thing."

It'll include the band's previously unveiled single Nobody's Heroes and the newly shared opening track Chance Encounters, which delivers their signature blend of heartland rock and punk, pairing driving guitars with reflective, storytelling lyrics. Head below to view the song's video, co-directed by the band and Britain Weyant.

The Menzingers will return to Europe this spring for a short run of festival dates, including slots at Slam Dunk in the UK next month. They'll also play the Vans Warped Tour in Washington D.C. and Montreal in June and August, respectively. Tickets are on sale now.
