Lily & Madeleine have unveiled the eerily evocative video for their new single Come To Me, which is set for release on November 25 via Asthmatic Kitty Records.
The new song is taken from the teen sisters' self-titled, full-length debut which will be released on October 28 and is available for pre-order at iTunes and Asthmatic Kitty Records’ website.
For the Come To Me video, Lily and Madeleine travelled south from their hometown of Indianapolis, Indianna to Nashville, Tennessee to work with 1504 Pictures. Filmed in the streets and living rooms of the suburbs and in nearby forests, the video evokes scenes from Donnie Darko and E.T.
The duo played their very first UK gig to an enrapt audience last week at The Social. There has been a great deal of anticipation for the album in advance of the release already. Speaking about the project, Madeleine said: “The new album reflects on our experiences as we grow as artists; looking both back to the places we’ve visited growing up for inspiration, and looking forward to our hopes for the future. This project really feels like our own, and we’re so grateful to those who helped us create it.”
Born and raised in Indianapolis, the sisters originally gained notice when the acoustic video for their song In the Middle made it to the homepage at Reddit. To date, the video has been viewed over 320,000 times.
