Pop superstar Lady Gaga will perform new single Venus on The X Factor next weekend, it has been confirmed.
The singer is gearing up for the release of her hugely-anticipated next album ‘ARTPOP’, and having seen its lead single Applause reach Top 10, she’ll be hoping she reaches even higher with its second single Venus.
Gaga is hot on the promotion game right now, and with the single set for a release on October 27, she’ll be giving its premiere performance live on ITV’s The X Factor the same day.
Gaga appeared on The X Factor a couple of years ago to perform Marry the Night from her 2011 record 'Born This Way', but since then, she’s had a bit of a feud with judge Sharon Osbourne, who called Gaga a ‘hypocrite’ and a ‘bully’ following a falling-out with her daughter Kelly.
It’s worried that the pair’s relationship may affect her appearance, with a source allegedly telling The Daily Star that Sharon’s comments means ‘there is now a very real concern Gaga might just pull out of the show’, though someone close to Cowell reportedly claimed that they were sure they would be doing all they can to ‘make Lady Gaga feel welcome’.
You’ll have to tune into ITV1 at 8pm on Sunday to catch it - will you be watching the show? Leave us a comment in the box below!
