Maztek Lines Up New 'M-Theory' EP

Thursday, 28 November 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Italy’s drum and bass titan Maztek has returned with a brand new EP.

Titled ‘M-Theory’, it’s the latest collection from the Subculture Records boss and arrives on December 2 via Renegade Hardware.

The four tunes are crammed full of intense sub-bass pressure, ear-splitting percussion and even a vocal appearance from Nuclear MC. Check out some previews below, and if you like what you hear, you can pre-order it here.

In the 1990s—along with Fatboy Slim and the Prodigy—the Chemical Brothers popularised a particular brand of big beat electronica that ran adjacent to, and sometimes intertwined with, the pompously termed Intelligent Dance Music movement. The result is probably their best album since 2002’s ‘Come With Us’.
