Prince is poised to return to the UK in February 2014, having confirmed a series of shows at "iconic venues in and around London" in support of a new record from 3RDEYEGIRL.
The funk legend has released a steady stream of new material in recent months and will begin the Hit And Run Tour on February 3 with a little help from soul star Lianne La Havas.
A press release from the Prince camp reads:
"The first stop is the living room of London's own - Lianne La Havas. This 24-year-old singer-songwriter met Prince last year during La Havas' tour of America. They jammed together at Prince's Paisley Park Studio in Minneapolis and have kept in touch ever since. When Prince told Lianne he was coming to London to launch his new project, La Havas jokingly offered her flat as the location for the press conference."
Details of the shows remain a mystery, but stay tuned for more details as they are announced.
