Kelis has unveiled Rumble, a track from her forthcoming Ninja Tune debut 'Food'.
Expected on April 21, the record was produced by TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek and is the follow up to 2010's 'Flesh Tone'. Kelis recently discussed the partnership with Alexis Petridis, saying:
“It’s like we’re such different people. But I met him and he’s really just this brilliant, strange creature. I musically fell in love with him and I think he’s just a divine person. It’s ridiculous how much we speak the same language, musically and food-wise.”
Kelis has confirmed a headline appearance at this year's Great Escape festival in Brighton and will also play a special one-off event at London's Metropolis Studios in March.
