Angie Stone will bring her fusion of roots, soul, funk and hip-hop to the UK in April.
Long remembered for successful singles such as Wish I Didn’t Miss You, Brother and No More Rain, Stone has influenced many contemporary soul artists including Alicia Keys, Estelle and Joss Stone.
Speaking about the new dates, Stone said:
“I’m really, really excited about my upcoming tour because I’m so well received in the UK! There is so much talent here.”
For these new shows, Stone will perform her landmark solo albums, 1999's ‘Black Diamond’ and 2001's ‘Mahogany Soul’, in their entirety backed by her full US band. Support comes from UK singer songwriter Ms D, Mancunian musician JP Cooper and DJ Ace.
