Wildflowers have announced the release of their new EP 'Let It Go' released April 14, followed by their first headline UK tour.
Following a triumphant end to 2013 supporting Tom Odell on his sold out UK headline tour, and dates with the legendary Robert Plant, Wildflowers have been getting fantastic reviews with one calling them “The bastard children of Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles”.
Speaking about Let It Go, lead singer Siddy Bennett says:
“I wrote this song last summer with James and my sister Kit and it’s a kind of Divorce Party song. It’s saying that everyone around us is having a good time so in order to join in, you’ve just got to learn to let go of your problems. I think in there is a whole generation of us who will identify with these feelings. It was the first track we recorded when we started the album in December and we got it in one take and all got an immediate buzz. It kind of chose itself as our first single”.
Following a performance at SXSW, Wildflowers play a short UK headline tour before returning to the US in May for more touring.
