Tides have announced a handful of headline shows for July, confirming visits to Manchester's Dry Bar, London's Borderline and Birmingham's Institute.
The announcement follows the Hertfordshire four piece's recent single, So Close, which kick-starts the build up to a soon-to-be-named EP, arriving to coincide with the band's summer shows.
Speaking about the track, singer Aaron Trowbridge says:
“The concept is derived from the idea that boys in bands always have a song of Boy/Girl break up. But it's always inevitably soppy - and always with a happy ending. We all know it's not that cut and dried in real life and doesn’t speak for the gamut of relationships.”
In addition to their headline dates, Tides play both Rhythms Of the World Festival and Boardmasters Festival in August, followed by Midlothian Festival in September.
Tides Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows Sat July 19 2014 - MANCHESTER Dry Bar
Thu July 24 2014 - LONDON Borderline
Fri July 25 2014 - BIRMINGHAM Temple, Institute
