Due to demand, Sting has announced a matinee performance at Gateshead Sage on April 25 as part of the venue's 10th anniversary celebrations.
The former Police frontman, who was born in neighbouring Wallsend, will call at the venue on April 24 and 25 to perform songs from 'The Last Ship'. The shows will be the only UK performances of their kind.
Tickets for the new matinee set are on sale at 10am on February 13.
