Danny And The Champions Of The World Line Up June Release For New Album 'What Kind Of Love'

Danny and the Champions of the World will release their new album, 'What Kind Of Love', in June.
The record, which is due June 1 via Loose Recordings, follows last year's live album, 'Live Champs!'. Discussing 'What Kind Of Love', Danny Wilson said:
"Every song on the album is a love-song of some fashion. These are love songs about friends, about ex-friends, about wives… All different kinds of love. Also, the title made me think of some mythical jazz or soul record – you could totally imagine an album on Blue Note called 'What Kind Of Love'.”

Following the release of the album the band will hit the road between June 9 and 26 for a UK tour, which will include a stop at London's Islington Assembly Hall. Tickets are on sale now.
