Grimm Grimm Shares Bo Ningen Collaboration Knowing

Thursday, 23 April 2015 Written by Laura Johnson

Grimm Grimm has shared his new track Knowing, a collaboration with Bo Ningen.

The song is the b-side for his latest single, Hazy Eyes Maybe. Although the original version of the track features on his forthcoming album, for Knowing (Church Version) Koichi Yamanoha wanted to do something special. Discussing it, he said:

“I wanted this song to sound like a big iron tower. I’ve managed to make sounds like it for this original version for my album, but I still wanted to make an even heavier version, minimal yet almost death metal in sound. So I called Bo Ningen up and they all said yes. “

"We went to this church in Hampstead Heath and my friend Tim Garratt did the recordings. The neighbours kept banging on the door of the church for ages to stop us, but we couldn't hear as the sound was so loud. It was great.”

The London based artist will release his debut album, 'Hazy Eyes Maybe', under the Grimm Grimm moniker, on June 22 via ATP Recordings

Grimm Grimm will call at London's ATP Pop Up Venue (formerly Total Refreshment Centre) tomorrow and will make an apperance at ATP's Nightmare Before Christmas in November.
