Pavement Line Up August Release For First Rarities Collection

Pavement will release ‘The Secret History Vol. 1’, the first in a series of five rarities collections, this summer.

The record will run to 30 songs - featuring studio outtakes, Peel sessions, live cuts from the ‘Slanted and Enchanted’ era and b-sides - and is set to arrive on August 14 through Domino.  Its liner notes, meanwhile, will include essays by Stephen Malkmus and Spiral Stairs.
