Years & Years have unveiled their video for Foundation.
The song has been lifted from their debut album, 'Communion', which is set for release July 5 on Polydor Records. Discussing the video with Pitchfork, who premiered it, singer Olly Alexander said:
"We wanted to revisit some earlier themes and imagery from our videos. We expanded on the eerie and hypnotic feel of the song and played with the drama of ritualistic practice, audience and voyeurism. Our director, Fred Rowson, was really good at seeing into our minds and bringing our ideas to life."
Years & Years have lined up dates for a return to North America this autumn. They will head back across the Atlantic for shows between September 14 and 30, kicking off with a Canadian date at Toronto's Danforth Music Hall and continuing across the US, stopping in cities such as New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles.
Following this the trio will head back out between October 9 and November 4 for their biggest UK tour to date. Tickets are on sale now.
