Slaves Cancel Glasgow Show Due To Injury

Thursday, 19 November 2015 Written by Huw Baines

Slaves have been forced to cancel the Glasgow date of their current UK tour, which was due to go ahead at the O2 ABC tonight..

Isaac Holman, the band’s drummer, dislocated his shoulder on stage in Norwich last night and has been told to rest his arm to “avoid permanent damage” after "serious tissue damage" was revealed. A statement from the band’s management read:

During last nights show in Norwich unfortunately Isaac was badly injured on stage. He was seen immediately by doctors in hospital, and today was seen by a specialist who confirmed that along with dislocating his shoulder there is serious tissue damage that requires him to rest his arm to avoid permanent damage. Given that he can't move his arm or drum, unfortunately we have to cancel tonights show in Glasgow and are looking into rescheduling the date asap. Sorry for the inconvenience to anyone who bought tickets and thank you all for your ongoing love. More details to follow soon X - Slaves Management

Further details on the band’s remaining tour dates will be posted when available. Slaves were recently nominated for the Mercury Prize for their debut ‘Are You Satisfied?’.
