Holy Esque have released a new single, Tear, which will be available on 7" via the band's own label, Beyond The Frequency.
The track is lifted from their upcoming debut album, 'At Hope's Ravine', due to arrive on February 26. Discussing the song, singer Pay Hynes said:
“Tear is a great example of two of the central themes of the album – darkness vs. light and hope. The song has an emotional weight and looks at the ever-constant fears and woes of everyday life against the hope of something better. It touches on escapism and the pursuit of greater things. It’s essential to the history and make-up of Holy Esque today.”
The Glasgow four piece will support their album with 18 shows and a set at Brighton's Great Escape festival.
