Spring King Share New Single Rectifier

Thursday, 11 February 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

Spring King have shared their new single, Rectifier.

The track, which was Annie Mac’s Hottest Record, is the Manchester four piece's first since signing with Island Records. The song is out digitally now and will be followed up with a physical 7” release on March 25.

Describing Rectifier, which you can listen to below, drummer/singer Tarek Musa said:

“It’s been thrown around yet still holding a direction which means you end where you were meant to. My mind sees the aftermath of a storm, maybe the end of an era, growing up, being a teenager and coming of age. Becoming someone else. Someone new.”

Spring King are currently on a headline tour of the UK, with stops left in Birmingham, Cardiff, London, Brighton, Nottingham, Manchester and Leeds. The band will also support Wolf Alice at their London show at the Forum on March 27 and the Kaiser Chiefs for dates in June and July.
