Sonic Youth will release 'Spinhead Sessions' in June.
The record is a compilation of instrumental demo recordings made in 1986 when the band were rehearsing songs for the soundtrack to Ken Friedman's film Made in U.S.A at Spinhead studio.
The album is set to arrive on June 17 through Goofin'. Meanwhile, check out Theme With Noise, and a statement posted on the band's Facebook page, below.
