White Lung Post Below Video Starring AnnaLynne McCord

Wednesday, 27 April 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

White Lung have posted a video for Below, starring actress AnnaLynne McCord.

The track is taken from the Canadian trio's new album, 'Paradise', which is set to arrive on May 6 and follow up 2014's 'Deep Fantasy'. Discussing the track, lead singer Mish Barber-Way said:

"This is my Stevie-Nicks-meets-Celine Dion ballad. I needed to try to do a ballad about glamorous women. It's based on a quote by Camille Paglia, 'Beauty fades. Beauty is transient. That is why we value it,' she said. 'Feminism's failure to acknowledge that beauty is a value in itself, that even if a woman manages to achieve it for a particular moment, she has contributed something to the culture.' It's a song about the preservation of glamour and beauty."

Check out the Richard Bates Jr-directed video below.

Following the release of the record the band will return to the UK for shows in Brighton, Bristol, London, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester between May 24 and 29. Tickets are on sale now.
