Yusuf Cat Stevens Sets Up November 50th Anniversary Shows

Yusuf Islam, formerly known as Cat Stevens, will bring his 50th anniversary tour to the UK in mid November.
The legendary singer-songwriter has lined up stripped-down, introspective performances at Manchester's O2 Apollo, Glasgow's Clyde Auditorium, Newcastle's City Hall and London's Shaftesbury Theatre. Speaking of the run, Stevens says:
"It's hard to believe that I will be playing in the theatre that I used to illegally climb the roof of as a teenager, right across the road from where I lived in London. I’m really looking forward to these shows and visiting some of the cities I played 50 years ago."
The A Cat's Attic tour coincides with the 50th anniversary of Stevens' first hit single, I Love My Dog, which was released in 1966. Tickets are on general sale at 9am on September 16, priced £50.00/£60.00 plus fees.
