The Contortionist Confirm UK Headline Dates Prior To Download Set

Tuesday, 25 April 2017 Written by Jon Stickler

The Contortionist will play a string of headline dates leading up to their appearance at Download festival in June.

The Indiana proggers will be joined by Bad Sign in Chester, Tunbridge Wells, Coventry, Cheltenham, Glasgow, Huddersfield and Milton Keynes between May 31 and June 7 before hitting the Dogtooth Stage in Donington on June 9. The band said:

"After months of studio hibernation for the next release and the tremendous shows with Periphery, we are excited to continue our 2017 trajectory by playing our first UK headliner shows ever, leading up to a performance at Download Fest UK."

The band, who are expected to release their new album via Long Branch Records/eOne Heavy later this year, also support Periphery at Manchester's O2 Ritz and London's O2 Forum on May 19 and 20 respectively.

The Contortionist Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
