Julie & The Wrong Guys Share New Single Love And Leaving

Monday, 21 August 2017 Written by Laura Johnson

Julie & The Wrong Guys have shared a single from their forthcoming new album.

The band, which now consists of Julie Doiron and Eamon Mcgrath alongside Cancer Bats' Jaye R Schwarzer and Mike Peters, will release the self-titled LP on September 8 via Dine Alone Records.

Speaking about Love and Leaving, Doiron said:

"'Love and Leaving' is about admitting out loud that you are ready to actually learn and you are actually ready to love but maybe you still recognise that you might be a little bit afraid to actually do it. We wrote it at a cabin in Manitoba, which was a great experience. I love everything about playing with the Wrong Guys! I feel strong and supported in this group with the freedom to play as loud or heavy as I want. It's the best!"

Julie & The Wrong Guys will follow up the record's arrival with a string of North American shows, including dates with Casper Skulls. Head here for more details.
