Avenged Sevenfold Share Mad Hatter Video From New 'Black Reign' EP

Friday, 21 September 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

Avenged Sevenfold have released a video accompanying Mad Hatter.

The California band recorded the track for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 video game, which is out on October 12. Their previously released music for other Black Ops games, including Not Ready To Die from Call Of Duty: Black Ops, Carry On from Call Of Duty: Black Ops II and Jade Helm from Call Of Duty: Black Ops III, features on a new digital EP, 'Black Reign', which is out now. Speaking about the new track, vocalist Matt Shadows said:

"The idea of Mad Hatter disease and what it does to the brain is as frightening as the images we were shown for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. We decided the lyrics would shadow John B. McLemore’s life. We'll be sharing some of those images with you soon..."

Avenged Sevenfold announced in July that they would have to cancel their summer North American tour with Prophets of Rage, Three Days Grace and Ho99o9 due to vocalist Shadows having a blood blister on his vocal cords. The band have been touring since the 2016 release of their latest record 'The Stage'.
