Against The Current Mark Arrival Of New LP With Voices Video

Friday, 28 September 2018 Written by Huw Baines

Against The Current have shared a video for Voices.

Premiered over at Nylon, director Joe DeSantis’s clip for the glossy synth-pop track lands on the same day as the band’s new LP 'Past Lives' and midway through their European tour. Vocalist Chrissy Costanza said:

"For the music video we really wanted to strip back the intense video production in favor of being more raw and letting mood and aesthetic take over."

To your left and right everyone was tired and wired—perpetual motion, with hearts set on the top but heads sweating rock bottom and the latest killer party. That was the way of things in the bloody, ugly, triumphant tales that defined the early years of the Hold Steady.
