You Me At Six Share Rick and Morty-Inspired Video For Straight To My Head

You Me At Six have released their first animated video.
It's inspired by the television show Rick and Morty and it accompanies Straight To My Head, the third single to be taken from their latest album, 'VI'.
Director Peter Reeve said:
“We’ve been long time fans of both You Me at Six and Rick and Morty, so when we had the chance to bring the two together we of course jumped at it! We had a lot of fun creating this and bringing together ideas from the band and using imagery from their back catalogue to create a crazy animation.”
Vocalist Josh Franceschi added:
“We’re excited to share our first ever animated music video, and this is collectively our favourite song from the album. The video has some fun references in there to our other videos from this new album too - we hope our fans enjoy it”
In 2019 the band have lined up European and North American tours. They will also play the Friday of This Is Tomorrow festival in Newcastle, alongside headliners Foals, as well as Nothing But Thieves, the Pale White, Bad Sounds, Anteros, Kawala and Wild Front. Head here for further details.
