The Good, the Bad And the Queen have lined up another tour for the spring.

Off the back of a recent run of sold out shows, Damon Albarn of Blur and Gorillaz, Clash bassist Paul Simonon, Verve guitarist Simon Tong and drummer Tony Allen have confirmed they'll head to Norwich, Cardiff, Sheffield, Manchester and Liverpool before a special hometown show at the iconic London Palladium on Good Friday, April 19.

The band put out their Tony Visconti-produced second album, 'Merrie Land', last month. The record marks the first time the quartet have teamed up since they released their 2007 self-titled LP, which was produced by Danger Mouse.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on December 20.

The Good The Bad & The Queen - Coronet, London - 10th November 2011 (Live Review)
Thu 17 Nov 2011
The Coronet has seen a few name changes in its time, but as a landmark of London’s musical and theatrical history, it’s a fitting venue for the Good the Bad and the Queen to play the album Damon Albarn described as a song cycle and mystery play about London. And with the theme of the flood hanging over those songs, who better to celebrate the arrival in London of the Rainbow Warrior III, and the 40th anniversary of Greenpeace.

Fri 14 Jun 2019
Photo: Mitch Ikeda As one of Britpop’s most garlanded grandees, Noel Gallagher’s mid career with the High Flying Birds has been one of workmanlike craft: the explosive obnoxiousness of Oasis replaced by tidy, unremarkable indie-pop. It sometimes feels like his albums are released to publicise his latest batch of entertaining interviews.
