The Rolling Stones have been forced to postpone their North American tour because Mick Jagger has fallen ill.
The band revealed that doctors had advised the 75-year-old vocalist not to embark on the 17-date No Filter Tour because of an undisclosed medical problem for which he needs to recieve treatment. No further details about his condition were released.
The trek was due to kick off on April 20 in Miami with dates stretching to the end of June. Jagger broke the news with a post on social media:
"I really hate letting you down like this. I'm devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can."
The legendary band released their latest album, 'Blue and Lonesome', in 2016.
