The opening run of shows at the UK's first socially distanced live music arena has been announced for this summer.
The Virgin Money Unity Arena will take over Newcastle Racecourse, Gosforth Park, operating a drive-in system and permitting people from the same household to view the events from a dedicated viewing platform.
Kicking off with a show from Craig Charles on August 14, the venue will then host Two Door Cinema Club (August 15), Supergrass (August 22), Tom Grennan (August 27), the Libertines (August 29), Jason Manford (August 30), Bill Bailey (September 1 and 2) and Maxïmo Park (September 5). Further additions, including a family-friendly programme, are set to be confirmed.
Tickets are on sale at 10am on July 10. For full information on the venue, the concert system and COVID-19 procedures head here.
