Jack Savoretti Plots 2022 UK Tour In Support Of New LP 'Europiana', Posts Nile Rodgers Collaboration

Jack Savoretti has confirmed a UK tour for spring 2022.
The singer-songwriter will play 12 shows between March 24 and April 13, kicking off at the Plymouth Pavilions and wrapping up at London's Eventim Apollo. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on May 14.
The dates will support his newly announced album, 'Europiana', due out on June 25 via EMI Records. As a preview, Savoretti has unveiled the record's disco-inspired first single, Who's Hurting Who, featuring funk legend Nile Rodgers.
"Nile brings groove, glamour and chic that is everything that Europiana is," Savoretti said. "'Europiana' wouldn’t exist without Nile Rodgers!"
The follow-up to 2019's 'Singing To Strangers' was recorded with the 37-year-old's touring band at the iconic Abbey Road studios in London in late 2020 with producer Cam Blackwood. Savoretti continued:
"'Singing To Strangers' was my first album that wasn’t all about me, which I loved 'Europiana' pushes that further. There are more characters and bigger concepts. I’m looking out at the world, not inwards.
"For weeks we literally lived Europiana. The band would arrive and I'd make a big lunch, eaten outside with loads of rose. Then we'd go inside to write in what is usually my living room but it became a studio. The sun and fun seeped into the songs."
