Nick Cave and Warren Ellis have added two new shows to their autumn UK tour.

Cave and his Bad Seeds collaborator will now also call at Aberdeen Music Hall on September 19 and Glasgow's Theatre Royal on October 4. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on August 25.

The extensive trek kicks off in Poole on September 2 and concludes at Brighton Dome on October 10. Other stops include Stoke, Nottingham, Blackpool, Oxford, Sheffield, Gateshead, Cardiff, Liverpool, Leicester, Birmingham, Portsmouth, Manchester, Edinburgh, Portsmouth and London, where they'll play two shows at the Royal Albert Hall.

In February, Cave and Ellis released 'Carnage', an LP recorded during the coronavirus lockdown. More recently, they put a 7" single called Grief.

In May, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds confirmed a run of concerts across Europe for summer 2022. The band recently announced they would be releasing 'B-Sides & Rarities Part II', the follow-up to 2005’s 'B-Sides & Rarities', on October 22. The collection was curated by Ellis and Cave, who said:

“I always liked the original B-Sides & Rarities more than any of our other albums. It’s the only one I’d listen to willingly. It seems more relaxed, even a bit nonsensical in places, but with some beautiful songs throughout. There is something, too, about the smallness of certain songs that is closer to their original spirit.
B-Sides & Rarities Part II continues this strange and beautiful collection of lost songs from The Bad Seeds. I love the final side of the last disc because it reveals the small and fragile beginnings of some of my favourite Bad Seeds songs. 'Waiting For You' complete with bizarre ‘canning factory’ rhythm track, a gorgeous 'Life Per Se' deemed too sad for Skeleton Tree, and ‘Earthlings’ that some consider the finest track of the Ghosteen sessions.”

Head below to listen to the previously unreleased Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds track Vortex, which was recorded in 2006 by Ellis, Cave, Martyn Casey and Jim Sclavunos.
