With her new album 'Big Time' set to arrive through Jagjaguwar on June 3, the singer-songwriter has shared the third pre-release single, Through The Fires.
Led by strings and piano, the mournful slow-burning ballad will feature on the LP along with the previously unveiled cut All The Good Times and the record's title track. Olsen said in a statement.
"It’s a song I wrote to remind myself that this life is temporary, the past is not something to dwell on, that it’s important to keep moving, keep searching for the people that are also searching, and to notice the moments that are lighter and bigger than whatever trouble I’ve encountered."
She'll support the LP with UK and Ireland shows in October, as part of a wider European tour. She also hits the road in North America with Sharon Van Etten and Julien Baker this summer on The Wild Hearts Tour.
