Following Toni and Something Changed, Fables unfurls around a descending chord progression and marks the latest preview of the band's upcoming album, 'The Other Side Of Make-Believe', due out on July 15. Vocalist-guitarist Paul Banks said:
"Fables features one of Daniel's hottest licks. A breezy vocal with optimistic lyrics, and a bouncy drum beat evocative of classic R&B with a nod to the golden age of hip hop. It’s a summer jam and a piece of music we are particularly proud of."
Interpol have European dates in the diary for the summer, including festival appearances and two headline London shows at the Roundhouse in June. Later in 2022, they'll return to North America for another round of dates.
