Joan Jett, Miley Cyrus, Alanis Morissette & More Set For Los Angeles Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert

Foo Fighters and the Hawkins family have announced the first wave of acts for the Los Angeles concert honouring the late Taylor Hawkins.
The details come hot on the heels of the first acts being revealed for the corresponding London Wembley Stadium show on September 3, with both gigs set to be headlined by Foo Fighters.
Taking place on September 27 at the Kia Forum, the star-studded LA concert will feature Joan Jett, Miley Cyrus, Alanis Morissette, KISS legend Gene Simmons, Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, Pat Wilson, Luke Spiller, Jon Theodore, and Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave drummer Brad Wilk.
Alongside them will be a string of artists who will also appear in London, including Rush stars Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor, Police drummer Stewart Copeland, Queens Of The Stone Age's Joshua Homme, Wolfgang Van Halen, Mark Ronson, Chevy Metal, and Jane’s Addiction bassist and Hawkins' longtime friend and collaborator Chris Chaney.
More acts for both shows are set to be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets go on sale at 9am local time today (June 17).
The Foo Fighters drummer passed away unexpectedly in March aged 50.
