Margo Price Announces New Album 'Strays', Shares Video For Second Single Change Of Heart

Margo Price has announced her next studio album.

'Strays' will arrive on January 13 via Loma Vista, following up 2020's 'That's How Rumors Get Started'. As a preview, she's shared the single Change Of Heart, a bluesy track, with elements of pop, rock and country. Head below to view the accompanying video directed by Courtney Hoffman.

Produced by Price alongside Jonathan Wilson at Fivestar Studio in Topanga Canyon, the record also boasts collaborations with Sharon Van Etten, Lucius, and Mike Campbell, along with the previously released song Been To The Mountain. Price said:

"I feel this urgency to keep moving, keep creating. You get stuck in the same patterns of thinking, the same loops of addiction. But there comes a point where you just have to say, 'I'm going to be here, I'm going to enjoy it, and I'm not going to put so much stock into checking the boxes for everyone else.' I feel more mature in the way that I write now, I’m on more than just a search for large crowds and accolades. I’m trying to find what my soul needs."

Price will publish her debut memoir, Maybe We'll Make It, on October 4, and embark on an extensive North American tour this fall. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on September 23.
