Mimi Webb Announces Debut Album 'Amelia', Plots Spring UK And European Tour

Mimi Webb has announced her debut studio album.
'Amelia' will arrive on March 3 via Sony Music, and will be supported with a huge UK and European tour, which culminates with a London show at the O2 Academy Brixton on April 24. Tickets for The Amelia Tour go on sale at 9am local time on October 20.
The details follow hot on the heels of the British vocalist's new single, Ghosts Of You, a power-pop anthem that shows off her powerful, husky vocals over infectious synthy melodies. Commenting on the record, she said:
"Announcing my first ever album is such an important moment in my career that honestly, sometimes I wasn’t even sure would happen. But after three years of hard work, I just can’t wait to share this body of work with all of you who have helped me get to where I am today."
"The album is named 'Amelia', my full first name, as there are two sides of me that I want people to get to know. There's Amelia, the girl from the UK countryside who loves to be at home with her family, friends, and dogs; and Mimi, the pop artist who loves to be up on stage travelling the world. It was important for me to capture this duality with songs written for both of those girls, and I’m excited for you all to get to know them!"
The news comes a year after the release of the 22-year-old's debut EP, 'Seven Shades Of Heartbreak'.
