Ashnikko Releases New Single Possession Of A Weapon

Ashnikko has shared a new song.
Haunting and atmospheric, Possession Of A Weapon is the fourth taster of their debut album, 'WEEDKILLER', which will arrive on August 25 via Parlophone.
The powerful, political alt-pop track is also a bold and cutting reflection on the overturning of the landmark Roe Vs. Wade case, with the singer's ethereal vocals exploring the outcome of the Supreme Court's ruling.
It follows the previously unveiled cuts from the record, You Make Me Sick!, Worms and its title track. Ashnikko said in a statement:
"The human body has become a political chess piece in a game we cannot see. I’m in possession of the formidable pussy weapon. I built my world out of paper mache, only for the eyes in the sky to come rain down on it and leave it decimated."
The singer-songwriter will play BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend this weekend and Glasgow's TRNSMT in July. In the autumn, they'll kick off The WEEDKILLER Tour with dates confirmed across North America, Europe and the UK. Tickets are on sale.
