Madonna Announces Rescheduled North American Dates For The Celebration Tour

Madonna has rescheduled the North American leg of TheCelebration Tour.
Marking 40 years in the music industry, the pop icon was supposed to kick off the greatest hits trek in July, but was forced to postpone her performances after contracting what was described as a "serious bacterial infection" that left her in intensive care.
The tour will now get underway in Europe, beginning with a previously confirmed four-date run at London's O2 Arena this October, before stops in Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands.
Her North American dates will now commence on December 13 with the first of three concerts at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, the last of which will replace her August 27 show due to take place at Madison Square Garden. Her shows in New York and Los Angeles have changed venues, and ticket holders for the original dates will be refunded ahead of having the opportunity to purchase tickets to the new dates prior to public sale.
Tickets for the original shows will remain valid for the rescheduled dates. However, her shows in Tulsa, Nashville, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Phoenix have been cancelled. Refunds will be available from the original point of purchase.
If any tickets remain for the New York dates following the pre-sale, they'll go on general sale at 10am local time on September 1. Remaining tickets for the Los Angeles concerts will go on public sale at 10am local time on September 5.
Madonna, who turns 65 today, recently took to social media to share a positive update with ticketholders. She captioned the post: "All dressed up and nowhere to go... But soon, very soon, I'll be traveling to you."
