In This Moment Post Title Track Of New Album 'Godmode'

In This Moment have shared the title track of their first album in three years.
'Godmode' is scheduled to arrive on October 27 via BMG, while the atmospheric eponymous track shows off Maria Brink's hallmark vocals, which shift back and forth between clean, ethereal notes and ferocious guttural screams. She said:
"The lyrics came from feeling powerful and tribal and entrancing. The fact that Chris [Howorth] gets me so much that I can literally send him a voicemail and he sends it back to me in music form, shows how in tune we are. It’s been a long time since I screamed on an entire verse for a song. I wanted to release a bunch of stuff and it felt visceral."
Following The Purge, it serves as the second preview of the follow-up to 2020's 'Mother', which was recorded at Las Vegas' Hideout Recording Studio with producers Kane Churko and Tyler Bates.
Commenting on her songwriting partnership with guitarist Howorth, Brink added: "We’re always striving for reinvention and growth. It’s been 10 years since our 'Blood' album, and there's been a lot of transitions happening, this year particularly, but it all felt so 'meant to be'."
The Los Angeles metallers recently wrapped up a North American tour with Motionless In White, and return to the road for US and Canadian co-headline shows with Ice Nine Kills in the fall. Dubbed the Kiss Of Death Tour, the run will kick off on November 3 with support from special guests Avatar and New Years Day.
