Little Man Tate Announce First Studio Album In Over A Decade 'Welcome To The Rest Of Your Life'

Little Man Tate have announced their first studio album in over a decade.
The Sheffield band will release 'Welcome To The Rest Of Your Life' on November 17, following up 2008's 'Nothing Worth Having Comes Easy'.
Returning from a 12-year hiatus in 2022 with two hometown shows, as well as reunion sets at Victorious and Tramlines festivals, the original line-up of Jon Windle, Edward 'Maz' Marriott, Ben Surtees and Dan Fields teased the new record this summer. They dropped the new single Undercover Lovers, a bouncy, indie-rock track which reflects on their time away. Frontman Windle commented:
"We became known for writing observational songs with interesting characters in them, often based on people we knew or had met. When we sat down and started writing again we didn’t want to move away from that, but we are 15 years down the line now so reference points change. We’ve been through marriages, loss, having kids, some of us getting divorced, and I think that comes across in the music. It’s still Little Man Tate… it’s just Little Man Tate a bit more grown up!"
They'll precede the LP's release with a headline UK tour this October. Tickets are on sale now. Head below for details.
