Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds Announce Autumn UK and European Shows For The Wild God Tour

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds have announced The Wild God Tour.
The veteran Australian rockers will begin the trek with a run across mainland Europe, starting off at Oberhausen in Germany on September 24 and wrapping up in Antwerp on October 30.
The UK and Ireland leg will follow with arena shows in Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Cardiff, London, Dublin and Birmingham between November 2 and 15.
Support on the European leg will come from Dry Cleaning until October 11, after which it will change to The Murder Capital for the remainder of the run. The UK and Ireland leg will be opened by Black Country, New Road.
The band's current studio line-up consists of Cave, Thomas Wydler, Martyn Casey, Jim Sclavunos, Warren Ellis and George Vjestica, with the live line-up featuring Cave, Ellis, Sclavunos and Vjestica alongside Larry Mullins and Carly Paradis.
The tour shares its name with Cave and Bad Seeds' new album, 'Wild God', which is due for release on August 30. Head here to check out the title track and more about the record. Tickets for the tour go on general sale at 10am on March 22. Cave said:
“I never think about how a record is going togo live, it never, ever occurs to me. The lyric writing process is way too hard to take ideas like that into consideration. But, when I listen to ‘Wild God’ now, I think we can really do something epic with these songs live. We’re really excited about that - the record just feels like it was made for the stage.”
