Erykah Badu And The Alchemist Team Up For New Single Next To You

Erykah Badu and The Alchemist have collaborated for a new single.

Spacey and hypnotic, Next To You serves up soul icon Badu’s ethereal vocals over the prolific producer's hazy, minimalist beat.

It arrives ahead of the pair's joint shows in Japan, and marks Badu's first single since launching her own label, Control Freaq Records, earlier this year. It's reportedly also the first preview of the pair's forthcoming collaborative album, 'Abi & Alan'. 

Badu's most recent album is 2010's 'New Amerykah Part Two: Return Of The Ankh', which was followed by the 'But You Caint Use My Phone' mixtape in 2015.

Earlier this year, The Alchemist collaborated with Larry June and 2 Chainz for the album 'Life Is Beautiful'.
