Due to pre-sale demand, Rush have added more North American shows to their Fifty Something Tour next summer.
Featuring returning vocalist, bassist and keyboardist Geddy Lee, guitarist Alex Lifeson, and new drummer Anika Nilles, the legendary prog-rock band have confirmed additional shows in most cities, including two extra dates in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, Toronto and Fort Worth, plus one in Cleveland. The tour also includes a performance in Mexico City on June 18. Tickets go on general sale at 12pm local time on October 17.
The seven-city reunion tour will see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees playing "evening with" style shows, featuring two career-spanning sets each night. It also marks Rush's 50th anniversary and pays tribute to late drummer Neil Peart, who passed away in 2020 after a private battle with cancer.
Rush last released a studio album in 2012 with 'Clockwork Angels', their 19th overall.
