Mötley Crüe have announced The Return Of The Carnival Of Sins Tour.
The North American trek will celebrate two milestones, 20 years since the band's legendary 2005-2006 Carnival Of Sins Tour and their 45th anniversary, and will hit 33 cities next summer with special guests Tesla and Extreme.
Kicking off on July 17 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania and wrapping up on September 26 in Ridgefield, Washington, notable stops include Saratoga Performing Arts Center in New York, Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan, and Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. The band said:
"Bringing back the spirit of Carnival Of Sins has been a blast, and we wanted to take it even further for its 20th anniversary. This new show is for the Crüeheads who’ve been with us through it all and for the new Crüeheads who didn’t get to experience Carnival of Sins last time around. Get ready — we’re coming your way and we can’t wait to see you next summer."
Tickets go on general sale at 9am local time on Friday (November 21). $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to ASAP! (After School Arts Program), a cause close to the band's heart.
Mötley Crüe's latest studio album, 'Saints Of Los Angeles', dropped in 2008, and last autumn they returned with the Bob Rock-produced three-track EP 'Cancelled', their first release since replacing co-founder/guitarist Mick Mars with former Rob Zombie guitarist John 5 in 2022. Earlier in November, they released a 'Theatre Of Pain (40th Anniversary)' reissue, which is also available as part of a deluxe box set.
