Deadletter have shared a new single, It Comes Creeping.

Released through So Recordings, the spiky, goth-tinged post-punk offering is the second preview of the band's sophomore album, 'Existence Is Bliss' due out on February 27. Introducing the track, lead singer Zac Lawrence said:

"A spectre haunts us all. Your spectre may well be different from mine, from your mother’s, but we all feel the wrath of whatever shape this spectre takes in the same way. The message in this track is not about what which comes creeping, but the way in which it does so."

Hailing from Yorkshire and now based in South London, the band teased the follow-up to 2024's 'Hysterical Strength' in November with the lead single To The Brim. On the album, the band shared:

"We are surrounded, totally enveloped by impurity and subjected to the lassitude its relentless jaws leave behind. To choose to live amidst this reality, as opposed to merely exist in it, is, to paraphrase a great philosopher, heroic. The temptation to choose the latter is a powerful, all too familiar sensation, yet, to look deep into one’s own eyes, to choose to embrace the struggles of life and use the world’s oxygen not to breathe, but to act, to indulge; that is what makes us people. Existence is Bliss, but to LIVE is a great turmoil whose payoff is without bounds."

They'll support the record with a UK and European tour this spring, which includes a show at London's KOKO on release day. Tickets are on sale now.
